I never really planned on doing recipes on here but this one is just so easy and so good, I had to share! I love it because it makes me feel like I'm cheating with a big bowl of comfort food. But it's really healthy!
Here's all the ingredients I used:
You can use anything you like. I chose brown rice pasta and an all natural clean sauce to keep it healthier. And I used red and green bell pepper, zucchini, onion and garlic. I seasoned the veggies with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I seasoned the turkey with salt, pepper, garlic powder, fresh garlic, dried parsley and italian seasonings, and a little paprika and crushed red pepper. I don't have measurements because I always just wing it because YOLO.
Saute the onions and peppers with olive oil, add zucchini after a few minutes and saute all together for a few minutes. Put aside, unless you have a big ass pan and can fit the turkey in there also. Brown the turkey with your choice of seasonings, and boil the pasta. When everything is done, mix together in a casserole dish with sauce and top with cheese of choice. I used mozzarella on this one but it was much better last week with the "italian 5 cheese blend". Bake for about 15-20 minutes. And stuff your face.
